Associate: The Morino Institute is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to helping individuals and communities find economic and educational opportunity through the innovative use of interactive communications. It was established in 1994 by former Legent Corp. CEO Mario Morino.

DESKTOP/VIDEO COMMUNICATIONS, Arlington, Virginia

Principal: D/VC was a personal project which specialized in new media research and production.

"THE HOTLINE," Falls Church, Virginia

Managing Editor: "Hotline" is the flagship publication of American Political Network, Inc., a global, nonpartisan political publishing company now owned by National Journal, Inc.

  • Directed story assignments, creative development, and execution of the daily, 20-page electronic briefing on American politics. Ensured the smooth operation of a 24-hour news cycle, and wrote lead stories on national political/campaign news.

June-November 1992
THE MEDIA TEAM, INC., Alexandria, Virginia

Consultant: The Media Team (now Greg Stevens & Co.) specializes in political media production.

  • Wrote, developed and produced award-winning television and radio advertising for political office-seekers, including an unaired spot for President George Bush, as well as four U.S. Senate candidates and three U.S. House candidates.

BAILEY/DEARDOURFF ASSOCIATES, INC., Falls Church, Virginia

Consultant: Bailey/Deardourff has been one of the nation's premiere political consulting firms for 25 years.

  • Wrote, developed and produced short-form video for political clients, including presentations on education reform for the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Republican Governors' Association.
  • Donated annual video "roast" of media personalities for the Spina Bifida Foundation fund-raising dinner.
